Before opening the doors to Long Group Financial in 2007, Chris Long worked for a Fortune-500 Company as a Software Development Manager for 15 years.  Prior to that he served in the United States Army as a Signal Officer.

He had always dreamed of opening his own company and finally found his niche in the insurance world.  It was a perfect fit that allowed him to fulfill his desire of helping people.

Chris works hard to help people find solutions to their protection needs with world class partners and products. He is also passionate about helping agents establish themselves by offering part-time careers that allow them to break into the business and transfer to full time agents as they grow their own books of business.
